Libman Brands UK is looking for a Social Media Manager who is driven by excellent content creation and online community management.

Our hero brand Dishmatic has become a household name in the UK and Australia; initially disrupting the cleaning fixture with our Dishmatic fillable handle and refills and now extending into an exciting range of new products. We have big plans in the near future to accelerate Dishmatic to become the #1 cleaning brand in the UK.

You will focus on our two main brands, Dishmatic (and Libman Floorcare, soon to launch), across UK and International accounts and be the go–to person for all social media channels. You will focus on bringing our brands to life online, increasing our following, and engaging with our audience of dedicated cleaning fans.

You will manage the social media budget and be required to meet agreed KPIs.

You will report into the Head of Marketing but also work with an award-winning social media expert who will assist you with onboarding to the new role, provide regular advice to help you deliver the social media plan, and coaching to drive your personal and professional development within the role.

In a typical day, you might: 

  • Write social media posts, create advertising images and prepare short-form video content to use across our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn)
  • Respond to inbox messages and comments
  • Plan a social media competition
  • Identify relevant news, and trending topics to get involved with
  • Produce an email marketing newsletter
  • Measure, review and optimise campaign performance (organic and paid)

As a member of the Marketing team, you will work together with our brand & communications, product and sales team to:

  • Plan the social media calendar of activity, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and the wider marketing plan
  • Plan the email marketing calendar of activity, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and the wider marketing plan
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of each social media and email marketing campaign, from ideation through to posting.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to promote our brand and family of products
  • Use social media to drive awareness, interest and traffic to our online store
  • Create engaging ad content to promote our brand and products to new and existing audiences
  • Community management: Engage with our following and wider audiences to increase reach, following and to support brand advocacy
  • Lead our Superfans (brand ambassador) programme
  • Create social assets for our retail customers (B&M, Tesco, Home Bargains, Ocado) and liaise with their social media teams to ensure activity is executed accordingly
  • Ensure all marketing content is on-message, consistent in tone of voice and meets brand design guidelines
  • Share campaign success and learning to the wider business and senior leadership team, via weekly and monthly reporting and presentations.

Must have

  • Up-to-date knowledge, and hands-on experience in using social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Highly organised, proactive and collaborative nature
  • Ability to prioritise workload at a fast pace, and to adapt to market changes
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of key social media marketing metrics; how to gather and use data insights to continually improve performance
  • Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite
  • Proficiency in using email marketing software such as Mailchimp
  • Must be able to work in UK

Desirable Certifications

You will currently have, or be interested in working towards achieving:

  • A CIM, IDM or CIPR qualification
  • Meta Certified Community Manager Certification
  • Meta Certified Media Planning or Buying Professional Certification
