Social Media Manager with a b2b PR and marketing agency

You’ll join a new, growing digital team and there’s plenty of progression opportunities for you. This role is much more about creating the strategy for clients and briefing the agency specialists to write the content and then reviewing and shaping it afterwards. The clients are B2B and tech but you don’t need experience in these areas as the specialists can write the content, so we welcome agency b2b or b2c backgrounds from agency or client side. 80% of the role is organic, it’s all about increasing interest on social platforms and developing communities and engagement.  There is an element of paid social to be done too.

What else will you do?

  • Offer strategic, tactical, and practical advice to the account teams and clients
  • Advise on the right channels, technology, tools, and techniques to deliver success.
  • Help develop SMART objectives for the digital elements of each program
  • Oversee day to day social media strategy for campaigns including which channels, content formats and topics to use to drive followers and engagement
  • Regularly speak to clients and our account teams to update them on progress
  • Research current and new innovations in social media, content marketing

What do you need?

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience (agency or in-house)
  • First-class social media knowledge and channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok).
  • Ability to manage and inspire team members to drive positive results.
  • A strong interest, or knowledge of the tech industry.
  • Previous experience in social media management, where you’ve delivered multiple and simultaneous campaigns across several socials.
  • Good interpersonal and research skills.
  • Be open and transparent with clients and team members.
