My client needs a collaborative Social Media Manager, with strong strategic campaign planning skills, to take the lead on all social media output for the organisation. You will own the vision, growth, management and accountability for all national elements of our owned social media channels.

What you’ll be doing  

Managing a team of experienced Social Media Marketing Executives, you’ll ensure that social media activity is seamlessly integrated and supportive of the broader brand, marketing and commercial objectives. You’ll work closely with the Content teams, Campaigns teams, and PR, to promote and support integrated brand campaigns.

You will develop the end-to-end social media strategy, execution, and growth of paid and organic social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn). This includes creating and managing content calendars, managing a team, and measurement and weekly performance reporting.

You’ll help maintain a clear, consistent, authoritative, expert and friendly voice, forming a key strand within our wider brand positioning.

Aside from your own team you’ll also advise and support the social media champions throughout our business, particularly our regional Social and Content Campaign Executives, assisting with their planning and publishing. You’ll need to maintain a keen eye on the horizon, looking for the opportunities and challenges which emerge as social channels evolve and launch.

Finally, you’ll work closely with the PR team, proactively and reactively, dealing with reputational management and engagement management on social platforms, and leading confidently on reactive social communications.
