We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive or similar with a passion for scientific research. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with a scientific background who’s eager to learn and develop their marketing career within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. You’ll be working directly with the Marketing Manager to deliver marketing content across a broad range of channels and ensuring the companies brand is aligned. The key for this role is someone who’s has a true passion for the scientific research industry and a desire to learn from industry experts in the field.

As their Marketing Executive you’ll maintain their brand consistency across a all marketing activity including print, content marketing, copywriting, digital channels, social media and campaign management.

You’ll offer creative support to the marketing manager in sales and marketing campaigns and assist with promotional marketing activities as per their content calendar plan. You’ll be supporting with the internal marketing strategy and creating marketing materials including their monthly newsletter, brochures, presentations and emails.

Duties will also include managing and updating their website and social media accounts, creating engaging content and responding to direct enquiries. This also includes maintaining their CRM systems and monitoring competitor activity and keeping up to date with analytics and reporting on performance.

You’ll engage with external stakeholders and agencies and assist with conducting market research. Also supporting on new product launches in accordance with their go to market strategy and attend company events, conferences and exhibitions.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Knowledge and experience in a science-based role/subject.
  • Excellent communication skills and copywriting abilities.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics.
  • A keen interest in pharmaceutical research and a passion to work with industry experts.
  • Knowledge of marketing activity, but most importantly the willingness to learn!
  • An inquisitive mind and thirst for knowledge.
