Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD).

Job Summary:

The Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing and implementing our social media activity across multiple social media platforms and acting as the social media expert for the organisation. The role will involve working closely with colleagues in the External Affairs, Brand and Marketing teams – as well as the wider organisation – to advise on and plan updates for our key audiences. The post-holder will take the lead in turning this into sector-leading content that will make an impact against our new organisational strategy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience managing social media programmes and running social media campaigns in a public, third, or private sector organisation. The ability to successfully work with and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent copywriting, proof-reading and presentation skills.
