Instagram is very keen to get people using Reels as much as possible, as it works to counter the rise of TikTok, while also aligning with rising usage trends.
The latest development on this front comes in the form of a new ‘Montage’ option, currently being tested internally, which would enable users to convert their Instagram Stories frames into short Reels video clips.
