Social Media Content Executive

We are seeking a Social Media Content Executive to join our growing Group Marketing team. This position is perfect for someone who likes to keep their finger on the pulse on trending topics and passionate about creating engaging and compelling communication in the ever-evolving social media landscape.

The Role

As a Social Media Content Executive, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our online presence and engaging our target audience. We’re B2B, but we’re not boring – we want to stand out and make our social content disruptive.

Your responsibilities will include managing and reporting on our social media accounts, scheduling posts, creating content, community management and bringing fresh ideas and creativity to our content marketing efforts to drive leads. We need to build a presence across key online communities and groups, making sure we’re part of and leading the social conversation in our space.

You’ll work alongside our fabulous Content Marketing team and reporting into our Group Content & PR Lead where you will be responsible for driving leads into our business through social media.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Handle day-to-day management of all Citation Group’s social media platforms
  • Plan and schedule posts for all accounts efficiently using Hubspot
  • Strategically plan and schedule content for specific occasions, such as awareness weeks and partnership and product launches.
  • Report on social performance across our Group platforms, sharing insights and ideas on how we can drive better engagement and reach.
  • Bring innovative ideas and creative concepts to our marketing plans, continuously reviewing and optimising social content to resonate and grow our audience.
  • Provide insights based on competitor tracking to help us stay at the forefront of industry trends – actively monitor competitor social media activities to identify opportunities and best practices.
  • Help us identify any engaging influencers relevant to our industry and product suite we may want to collaborate with to help raise brand awareness.
  • Champion our tone of voice and engage with our online community to build meaningful connections and interactions that show us as professionals with personality.
