We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and driven social media manager to join our growing social team, to lead on implementing World Mobile’s social media and content strategy.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and management of social media content, from concepts through to execution, across our social media platforms. You’ll need to be confident self-starter, accustomed to operating in a high-growth, tech ‘start-up’ environment.

You will have experience in delivering engaging, social-first campaigns from strategic ideation through to final delivery, with the ability to combine consumer and data insight, with creativity and storytelling. You will have your finger on the pulse of the latest developments across the social media landscape, from understanding trending sounds on TikTok through to the nuances of Discord channel organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content planning, scheduling and execution across World Mobile’s social media channels
  • Own the social content calendar, working closely with the wider marketing team to ensure consistency across company communications
  • Manage the content production process, including briefing the content and creative teams, and working closely with designers and video editors to ensure content is social-first, adhering to platform best practice
  • Monitor and respond to community feedback, comments and questions across our social media channels with the aim of increasing trust and loyalty
  • Create regular reports on performance across our social channels
  • Support in the development of our influencer and ambassador programs
  • Liaise with external agencies and partners to support on campaign delivery
  • Be proactive in the discovery and sharing of insights around developments in the social landscape and competitor activity
